Along with coaches Dave Simpson and Daniel Fortune, the team put in an enormous amount of time and energy in preparing for this year’s American Association for Justice Mock Trial competition, which was canceled at the last minute due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Coaches Simpson and Fortune and Associate Dean Garrett agree this year’s team represented BSL’s best chance ever to win the Regional competition and to advance to the national tournament, and all were exceptionally disappointed to have been robbed by the pandemic of the chance to compete. We are thankful to the members of the team for their dedication and effort, and the team deserves the congratulations of all. Congratulations also to the winner of this year’s BSL Golden Gavel award: Ray Foushee. Congratulations, Team!
