BS, Finance, Auburn University Montgomery

Class of 2013
As the first generation in my family to go to college, a traditional law school was out of reach for me. I worked my way through Auburn University Montgomery and gained considerable experience in banking, while taking business classes at night.
I always wanted to attend law school. One night after learning about BSL from a friend, my wife and I discussed our future. With a daughter on the way and a family decision that my wife would end her career to stay at home with our children, we decided we would take another leap of faith to pursue law school. A letter in the mail a few weeks later announcing the beginning of a Saturday Program at Birmingham School of Law sealed the deal for us.”
The education I have received coupled with the diverse group of friends I made has enriched my life. The knowledge and skills I learned made me a more prudent banker, a wiser leader, a more confident father, and a more grateful husband.
