Alumni and Friends of BSL Enjoy Fall Social

Birmingham School of Law hosted the Second Annual Alumni Social on October 19th. This year, alumni gathered with law school staff and friends of Birmingham School of Law. During this beautiful fall evening, the 200 attendees enjoyed live music, great food, and friendly banter on the BSOL facility rooftop.

Alumnus Ross Kinder and his bandmate, Blanton Reed, provided the musical entertainment while guests enjoyed the El Barrio taco bar. BSL Associate Dean Scott Garrett was thrilled with the turnout and the event! “I was glad to see that so many non-Birmingham area alumni made the trip to reunite with classmates.” says Garrett, “It was also great that several non-BSL Birmingham attorneys and judges accepted our invitation and stopped in to visit.” Those visitors included friends from Heninger, Garrison, Davis; and Hollis, Wright, Clay and Vail.

Garrett says they plan to make the Alumni Social an annual event to be held on the third Friday of every October. “The Judge Hugh Locke building is a tremendous asset for Birmingham School of Law, and we are proud to host our alumni and other members of the Birmingham legal community!”
